Professional Development and Training

At Urban Alliance on Race Relations, we are dedicated to supporting school boards across Ontario in fostering equitable and inclusive learning environments. As part of the Anti-Racism Education Ontario project, we offer tailored professional development training sessions focused on addressing anti-racism, systemic inequities, and creating safe(r), more affirming spaces for students and staff.

Our training services are designed to engage educators, administrators, and staff at all levels to better understand the impacts of racism in the educational system and to provide actionable strategies for creating change. With a focus on cultural competency, anti-racism advocacy, and policy development, our team will work closely with schools and school boards across Ontario to ensure that each session – its intention, relevance and impact – is designed based on your unique needs.
