Northern Ontario Summit | Sudbury

The Sudbury Regional Summit is the third event in the Anti-Racism Education Ontario summit series. As part of the Urban Alliance on Race Relations‘ 50th anniversary celebrations and the Racial Equity and Education Initiative, this summit will focus on the unique challenges and opportunities related to dismantling systemic racism in education in Northern Ontario.

Our Focus

Building upon the conversations from the Ottawa and London summits, the Sudbury event will continue the collaborative effort of building upon local organizing and insights to create actionable steps toward a more equitable education system across Ontario. Findings from the Sudbury summit will be integrated into the broader summary presented at the Toronto summit.
